Shame on you Mr Harley...

What does anyone else think?

In 1970 Dick O’Brien create a mythical motorcycle : the XR750. From this years nobody succeeded to make not even a pale copy of this wonderful machine.
Nobody … until today when H.D decided a couple years ago to do that: ... the XR 1200
Shame on you Mr Harley. How can you put a knife in the back of Mr O’Brien and the original XR 750 by designing and producing this kind of horror.
And worst than that how can you use the image of this legend to promote the sales of this new product.
With all what’s happening in every countries on the motorcycle scene, please help us and yourself by firing your designer or let him free to make real bikes again… I know i’m angry but take time to compare and you’ll see what i’m talking about.

    Seat's too long and fat, 3-spokes look like they came from a Yamaha Seca, and the Exhaust? C'mon.

    I don't care how far H-D bends over to try to make their products more factory custom... the fake shit never looks and sounds like the garage-built shit we all fell in love with.

    If you want a Harley done right, you have to start from the motor up.

    i've got one, in stage 1, and i'm proud to leave some jappies behind with the " big twin".; for me, it's note a shame ( in europe).. it's not a classic , either old school, but it's a harlay who make some jappies cry and only see his back :)

    The author of this blog post is critical of Harley Davidson's new XR 1200 motorcycle, which they believe is a pale copy of the legendary XR750 created by Dick O'Brien in 1970. They feel that Harley Davidson is disrespecting Mr. O'Brien and the XR750 by producing this new motorcycle.

    As a reader, I would leave a comment similar to the one above, expressing my opinion on the XR 1200. I would also encourage others to leave comments and share their thoughts on the new motorcycle.
