Couple of nice shots Jason
BHBB found. That starter roller looks unnecessarily aggressive. Especially for nice soft race tyres. WRs are just beautiful though. We've got one lined up for issue 3.
Those bars are hoooge. Anyone got the story behind this AHRMA racer? GI.
Those are my photos, from combined AHRMA and AMA event at Virginia Motor Speedway in '07. I don't have anything to offer on the WR, but the spiked rollers are for softening tire lugs, not starting engines.

I feel a dumbass now. Not only did Ben immediately know the WR was a Tim White shot, Tim then pointed out the rollers aren't rollers but softeners. I apologize. I am a dumbo.
ReplyDeleteTim, people really like putting your photos on their sites. I hope this transmogrifies into lots more work for you, somehow. GI
Given the interest in WRs, I must dig out some of my shots of George Wills riding the wheels of his machine - the sights and sounds of George climbing all over the bike, haulin' it sideways with girder forks, hardtail, handshift, foot clutch, open pipes, no brakes - the whole deal - just brilliant!
ReplyDeleteGary, don't beat yourself up, I did'nt know either. I've been using Pantene on my tyres.
