I'm going to learn to do this

This summer. Superb photo from OttoNero. Don't know where he got it from. Can someone enlighten us? GI

  6. Couple of tips. You need to start the trick quite fast, if you try it at 30 by the time you stand up you'll be doing 10mph and go all wobbly and fall off. So start at a speed that feels way too fast and a bit dangerous. Don't use a sports bike like say, an RC30 with, if I remember right Metzler ME1's. A couple of seconds after you let go of the bars it will be weaving gently and if you're careless it will break into a proper slapper. So best not use the Moto Guzzi. This is not advice, I am not intending to encourage anyone to do a pointless and dangerous trick, I have never done this myself, nor have I ever tried to sit backwards, nor tried riding with crossed arms. Really seriously don't ever try the last one, the second the bike wanders off line you'll over correct and end up heading for a hedge.

  8. Why not use the Guzzi. It's longer than Lent, so it should be so stable I could read the Times Obituary up there. Anyway, I've picked my stretch of road. Stay tuned for the outcome. GI

  9. If Frank Spencer could ride a '70s Kwaka stroker whilst sitting side saddle on the 'phone , I'm sure you can manage it Gary.

Did you know Frank Spencer did all his own stunts? but always wore the same 'lucky' black leather driving gloves - so don't forget those GI
