Worth looking in if you're out at Springfield, I imagine.
Here are some snaps taken at the Iron Horse Saloon and Social Club in Savanna, Illinois. The place is run by a guy called Gerry who has a fantastic collection of classic and vintage dirt and hill climb bikes. My camera is not the latest so I apologise for the image quality. If you are ever out that way, it is worth a detour. Keep the shale flyin' Best regards, Mike Allen, UK
That third pic down has a plaque saying '1935 Factory Harley-Davidson', but the motor is clearly a unit BSA twin. Can't quite work out which one because that business of twin inspection plugs close together isn't common, though I have seen it before - maybe a period modification?
BP - could be a Spitfire motor, though many don't have that type of chaincase, though I did find a pic of one that does: http://tinyurl.com/m359m6
Tried a bit of html mark-up to make the link live, if it doesn't work, just ignore the stuff in square brackets.
Crazy that this is on here...this place is like 30 minutes from my house. About 4 hours from Springfield...maybe 2.5 hours from Peoria.

Extra DIY inspecion holes would be easy enough to make in the primary cover.
