California über alles

From Rudy Krumpledick is having a rant. Listen up Californians!

It's time to see the racing season out in style. So wake up, you daybed-lounging lump of over-leveraged humanity! Yes, you with your "Gut By Stouffer" paunch protruding, mouth just slightly agape, staring at your 72" 2nd mortgage-financed HELOC-special HD TV, resting your little cranium, waiting to see what some poorly-paid, even lesserly-talented actor is going to do in their low budget faux reality TV show, biding time for your bout with H1N1.

Or you could take life into your own hands and celebrate one of the finer spectacles in life and kick despair and angst right outta your life:
Go here: Lodi Cycle Bowl This weekend, AMA District 36 Dirt Track comes to a close at the historic Lodi Cycle Bowl, where you can get served a fine portion of TT racing on Saturday night and blue groove short track on Sunday.

This Too Will Be There: Slideways Racing Appreciation Dinner: This Saturday night we'll be hosting a trackside meal after the races. It's October and it feels downright German. Join us for Red Cabbage and Onions, sauerkraut, Bockwurst, Bratwurst and black bread, and we'll have plenty of Dunkel and Marzen. That's beer for those of you who think a big dose of culture is any trip five miles past the county line.

End The Season Here: Pacific Coast Nationals, co-sponsored by AMA/DMG and Gene Romero's West Coast Flat Track Series will be held in Pomona on Saturday, October 24th. Gene has built this into a world-class event that has withstood the ravages
of our economy and the idiocy of the Dumas Motorsport Group (DMG).

That's enough for you. All you deserve. C'Mon out and I'll let you buy me a beer.
