We're working on some new Sideburn hoodies and Ts, but choosing colours from the website colour chart is a bit hit 'n' miss. At midnight last night I ordered a real fabric colour swatch via the anonymous contact button on their website (It's an American company). Come morning, 8 hours 28 minutes later, it's sitting on my doormat in Bristol. I hadn't even downed my morning coffee. BP
cool, B could I repsectfully offer a recommendation? American Apparel brand t shirts & hoodies are far nicer, and will sell better, I speak from experience. Thanks for the cool blog/magazine!
ReplyDeleteHello Hye, Thanks for the input, but I beg to differ on the American Apparel stuff. The ads might be good, and the first world production (though Third World countries need jobs too, but the T-shirts are virtually see through - the ones I've seen anyway. GI
ReplyDeleteHi Hye,
ReplyDeleteI also bought some AA Ts for myself as they've got some great colours you don't see anywhere else, but they started coming apart at the seems after only a couple of washes - But recommendations always considered Thanks. BP
I am with Ben and Gary. I am a big AA fan but the quality and sizing is rubbish. Loads of loose threads its a pitty cos they have there ethics right but there quality wrong.
ReplyDeleteYou should check out Continental Clothing http://www.continentalclothing.com/
ReplyDeletewhen I worked in the t-shirt business their stuff was the best quality and fit.
Got one of Max Shaaf's 4Q shirts on a Gildan, and it's one of my faves-good quality and a great fit.
