Dream


We run a program called Statcounter (as well as Google analytics) to see where people are coming from when they land on Sideburn. One site that comes up every now and then is an Italian cycling site Los Lobos della Bassa. They had this photo on there. It's hard to tell when it was taken, but I'm sure it's the 70s rather than now being trying to look old (unless, of course, the master Re-enactor, Nick Clements took it. He's good enough to fool nearly everyone). Anyway, I love everything about it. I predict it's going to break all download records and will appear on Le Container tout suite. G

    Thats the helmet 'Pete Aron' (James Garner) wears in the 60's film 'Grand Prix' so I'd imagine its from that.......

    Hardy's helmet: It is actually Kiwi Chris Amon's helmet, as he figured in the live scenes used for the film, secnd best racing film ever. After le Mans...

    If you make it onto Le Container, you won't get any traffic—they unfortunately never credit their sources.

    Keeps it all looking clean though, without those messy links.
