Unlike a couple of previous Ducatis used for UK short tracking, this has had the front of the frame modified to give more steering lock - crucial. It was built by Rob Oily Rags who raced for the first time at Dirt Quake and got the bug. This is what he says...
Just saw the very cool XT on your blog and thought i would "Wet your Whistle" with a
Sneaky Peek at the Duke that i will be trying to ride for the first time on Sat at
the practice session. Ive spent a lot of time mucking around in the shed, in fact I
just got in from welding up a Hot shoe.
See you soon.
Rob
There's a practice at Rye House today, so I hope to get some more snaps of this bike. G

ReplyDeleteReally beautiful lines, great build.
Thanks guys.
ReplyDeleteThe bike ran like a bloody dream yesterday. The only limiting factor to the bikes potential, at the moment, is Me.
I,m going to try and make a right foot gear change before the next race.
