Air-powered Bultaco

There's been a lot of speculation about water powered engines bouncing around the net recently, as more mad garden shed scientists mysteriously go on holiday. Permanently. This rather worried looking Spaniard, tracked down by our French agent Vincent Prat of South Siders mc, is selling an air powered Astro for €2500 (PS. this French website throws up classic bargains daily). He's hoping for a quick sale of his prototype, before CIA backed Exxon hit-men come after him. BP

Birmingham Small Arms

Two people sent us photos of the same bike, a Trackmaster BSA in the National Motorcycle Museum, Birmingham, England.
Thanks to Jeremy Melling and Alastair McQ. Great minds... These are a mixture of both their photos.

Alastair says 'Please find attached photos I took of Dave Aldana's 1969 Trackmaster A65 (number 38, in the National Motorcycle Museum post fire) and Don Emde's 1971 Trackmaster A70 in the San Diego Museum.
Looking at Don's bike I see that contrary to what I recall him telling me and I wrote in my history document, it is fitted with the ARD mag' rather than a total loss battery which his 650s were.'

Suzuki framer in England

From Boastie. Boastie, and his other-half Jackie, run the Short Track UK series. Without them there'd be no short track in the UK. And probably no Sideburn. This bike was bought from Suzuki's US GNC team to race in the UK. Come on!

'I've fallen in love. My 450 Framer arrived today all the way from California in a Tea box. Well not one tea box but two tea box's joined together. I just couldn't wait to get it out, but the guy did great job in making sure all was safe and it ended up taking me about hour to get it out. Then there was no stopping me and Frankie (dad) putting it together. Three hours later there it was. I think I'm going to sleep in the garage tonight! I'm not sure what Jackie is going to say.'
Boastie

More info from Boastie:
Yes it was #11 Brian Bigelow but I bought it from a Scott Grimstead who sponsored him, from San Jose CA. It was shipped out from San deigo, it's cost about £550 to get it here.

Italian GQ have printed a story about the Macau GP I wrote for them. It includes shots by my friend and real road photo ace, Stephen Davison. On the stands in Italy now. GI

More HWZNBROSS

From Troy C.
Love the goggles and full-face combo, very Toecutter. Still can't, and never will, get onboard with the swastika fetish, though.
Thanks Troy.

'These are some shots of some of the Hwzn Bross in the Mooneyes parking lot.'

Tank Commander

Lots going on over at the Adam's street tracker project blog. Go there to learn how to make your own fibreglass tank from scratch.
I'm astonished (and delighted) by how much work people put into some individual parts of their bikes. GI
