The Pippa And ike Show

My wife has been a freelance designer for the Dutch high-street store the Hema for nigh on 15 years. But she's always had a pipe dream to jack it in and start her own kiddies shop. Out on a Sunday stroll in Bristol 4 months ago we came across a vacant shop in a prime location, so she just decided there and then to jump into the void.
Like when GI and I started Sideburn, no market research, very little money, not much of a clue, but crucially a vision, and a burning passion. The shop has its opening party this afternoon. There haven't been enough minutes in the day to print flyers. There is no name above the door. The website and blog are just holding names as the physical jobs take priority. The paint is still wet, but she is open for business. If you have a pipe dream, don't just puff away until the embers are burnt out. Make it reality. BP

Absolutely no chance of getting there to support - but - sock it to 'em and GOOD LUCK. Faffing around the edges and tentatively prodding at ideas is a common weakness - those spirited ballsy souls who actually get off their arse and DO what they dream deserve all the support and encouragement in the world - GET IT WHERE YOU CAN ! MORE BALLS !
