Dear Jack

When was the last time you sent a postcard? I used to send tons. Now we can so effortlessly send an email or a text message the significance of the physical message is all too easily forgotten.
Jack Kerouac's 1957 book (written in 1951, the same year as this postcard) On The Road was inspirational reading to me when I was at art school. Neal Cassady was one of the Merry Pranksters. BP

Inspirational lunchtime reading when working on the rooftops of London circa 1969/70. Laying on the roofs of the Houses of Parliament with the Thames flowing past reading Kerouac, Burroughs and Ginsberg were half hours worth well spent in my youth.

Nice one Hot Shoe. We have Gregory Corso buried here in Rome at the Non-Catholic Cemetery, very close to the grave of Shelley, as Corso wished.
