I saw a bloke in a Moon Equipment cap so I tried to sell him a Sideburn. He already had them all, so we had a chat. He's got a collection of cool bobbers and this tattoo. The story goes he had a massive accident on a bike, over the bars and into the other lane, would've been head on into traffic, luckily there was a gap in the cars. To try ensure he didn't have another close call (or worse) he had St Christopher tattooed on his arm. I like tattoos with a story and that's a good one.

Practice was a bit muddy.
Boastie had a big crash (but still came second in the final and won Thunderbikes), Ade Collins won the short track final in style, Dave Skooter Farm came fourth in the Thunderbikes, the track dried out -going from sludge to dustbowl, the surface was loose causing lots of crashes but everyone went home in more or less one piece.
