Digging

Went with GI to Bromsgrove to meet up with Benny Boneshaker, and do a feature for SB#10 on a tasty Harley 'scrambler' he has built before it gets crated off to its new home in Italy. Then we went to his new dream workshop and fell in lurve with this groovy 750/4 digger he is building. BP
(Yes, Peter Sutcliffe came too)

C'mon Ben, you've already got the makings of a digger (albeit with an XS650 motor), break out that angle grinder and metalflake paint - how hard could it be?

Now, you know it's not like me to be pedantic, but I think that's a 500 or 550 Four motor, certainly not a 750.

lovely stuff. Looks like Max Schaaf's place.

Happy NY to all Sideburners, as an aSide.

Good spot Mr P, no end covers on a 750 cam box. That would be a major rebore to get it up to 750!

- I was too spun out by the kryptonite coffin tank & the 38° bend in frame downtubes (hidden in the photo behind the headers), to be bothered wether it was 350 / 500 / 550 or 750, but Yes thank you for your sobriety Mick

- Rich thats exactly what I said when we walked in.

With a lot of machine work you can put 750 liners and pistons in, but it still wouldn't be a 750...more like a 600...? can't remember for sure.
