Medusa

So yeah the engine, only 15 more days to go and this thing's meant to racing. Better pull my finger out. Gunk it up, hose it down, and hoof it in. Pray that the other replacement parts and tools from Heiden Tuning in Holland turn up quickly - I couldn't find anywhere in the UK that had what I need.
The Boyer Bransden electronic ignition is now fitted.
Wish I'd never seen this video of Hugh Owings 720∘rephased XS.
Raucous. Those hot rod dreams will have to wait. BP

What sort of paint job are you considering for you Dirt Quake 650 wheelbarrow? Are you sticking with the vintage builders rat look or something more health and safety black and yellow stripes? db

the christened name of this bike after it's first major sex change surgery in 1996 was 'Uncle Ben's Rice Burner'. The tank top was meant to be painted with '3 cups water + 1 cup rice' directions next to the filler cap, and I had the artwork for Mr Deep South Yessa Maam himself to go on the side but I never got around to it. However the base colour was painstakingly matched to an actual orange box of Uncle Ben's I took to the paint shop. Rather unromantically they said that was the same colour used by rubbish trucks in Italy. It also had a matting agent mixed in.

To actually answer the question, I have no intention of repainting it.

Hugh Owings. If you need to find out how to shorten the forks on your flat tracker/street tracker properly, then look up his 'how to' on the invaluable chop cult web-site. Top Man.
