Jan-Willem, like Peter Boast, is a European flat track fanatic (well, Boastie's not really European. He's from Lincolnshire). They both love flat track so much they decided to organise their own series'. This is an incredible amount of work. Especially as it doesn't pay. Without them, and their other-halves and support teams of helpers, there'd be no flat track in Europe on the UK.

The Euro championship has just been announced. (Incidentally, Boastie is 54 on this flyer, and J-W is 15)
You'll see two races are on one weekend and in two different countries - Czech Republic and Austria. They are 276km (170 miles) apart. I've never been to either country. I feel an adventure coming on.

Ceske Budejovice is where Budweiser Budvar is from and on a road trip is well worth a stop for LAGER!
