Found this video on Roland Sands' blog. He wins the race, but it doesn't show much of it. This could be the craziest first corner action I've ever seen. G
For anyone who witnessed the Stock Car race for road cars in the 70s @ Ipswich (available on YouTube - drivers not wearing helmets plus Barry Lee driving a Rolls Royce) this looks pretty tame.
Maybe but i just don't get. I do remember seeing a Stock Car race for road cars at Nashville Speedway in the 90s when an immaculate Corvette had a fight with the concrete wall and tore the rear end off. I did raise a smile at that though.

The bloke on the Buell thought he'd won it on the penultimate lap and backed off I reckon.
Only just caught up with this one, classic lunacy, big fella in the sleeveless tee deserves points for perseverance if not style.
Must be the weight of the headlights throwing their balance off...
