Beautiful, eh? George Brown's Vincent-powered 180+mph Super Nero, photographed at Debden airfield in Essex, England in 1968. More of this high-octane nostalgia at Geoff James' blog, Confessions of an Ageing Motorcyclist. MP
Hi from NZ, A friend pointed me in the direction of your excellent blog after you posted the link to my drag bike post. I'm a fan of flat trackers too and every year at the Auckland classic race meeting, several take part on the sealed race track. There's a photo of a beautiful Bonneville flat tracker on this post: http://geoffjames.blogspot.co.nz/2010/02/classic-race-bike-weekend-auckland-nz.html Cheers,
THIS IS THE BLOG OF SIDEBURN MAGAZINE. IF YOU LIKE IT, MAYBE YOU SHOULD BUY A COPY.
Sideburn is a magazine made every few months by Gary Inman, Ben Part and some of the best freelancers in motorcycling. It's a dirty bike lifestyle magazine inspired by oval motorcycle racing, and covers flat track racing, speedway and the road bikes loosely inspired by the racers plus the heroes and zeroes we love.
