Square's Not Square

One for Deus ex Carby. No it's not a flat tracker, but I did get it sideways once. On some diesel. And highsided. (hence wonky bars in bottom photo). Ever started a project with just a rusty frame, handlebars, and a disassembled gearbox in a cardboard box? This chop started out as just the headlight. A French Marchal, as fitted as ancillary spotlamps, by Shelby and Ferrari in the late 60s.
The poncho is a highly underrated utility garment - especially as a 70% Peruvian lama wool 30% Gortex weave. This one doubled up as my tent, on a soul searching road trip to the island of Terschelling. I mistakenly smeared my sunburnt body in toothpaste in the middle of the night and then nearly drowned swimming in the sea. But thats another story. And Yes those flares do inflate when you've got your heels on the forward controls. BP

Sadly only self inflicted on that trip MP.

Although very bizzarly did bump into possible female victim I already knew from Amsterdam on the ferry over. She had the Hots for me, but I was too disconnected to realize. And I think the big hair was a bit of a turn-off.

Awestruck.

Yet again, those Arbiters of Highside style at Sideburn have delivered up another barnfind citizen who lost his way at the crossroads of wack-core and ubercool.

We have those Ponchos in development already. They will be reversible and 80% Kevlar...hey, every one falls off the horse sooner or later, rather be sliding on a Poncho.

Stay tuned.

wrapped up warm in a shag-pile fur coat, I once got chased by a Hells Angel in Amsterdam. I was riding the chop in the snow, I think he mistook me for a Lovely Lady. Or maybe he had a thing for white Yettis.
