Ben Wilson

Ben Wilson is a furniture designer (among a long list of sub-genres), and when he gets bored of objects with 4 legs, he likes to experiment with things that have 2 wheels. This is his XS400 shopping bike (bigger objects can always go in his duffed up Mitsubishi pick-up). I'm in love. I think this is the direction my XS650 chop needs to take when it rises from the ashes after a 7 year slumber (probably in another 7 years time). BP

What I like best is that pre '65 trials silencer. It has no place on a bike like this but just suits it nicely.

Reminds me a bit of those bizarre Japanese custom bikes with the fairing mounted as far up and forward as mounting brackets can stretch.

Might be the picture but it looks like the pilot's feet will be outside the fairing.

Totally Dagenham Heathway.

Chopper with a fairing. Interesting. Shouldn't work but it does.

A wicker basket up front to be a stylish finishing touch. Perfect for speedy trips to Fortnums.
