Ting-a-Ling
AKA Butlers Bell. Finally got my head around how to rig together a Heath Robinson mechanism to go through the 27cm thick stone door post and down the entrance hall. It incorporates retro parts from Weijntjes Ijzerwaren Amsterdam, bicycle cables and various hand-filed parts. It makes me chuckle every time I hear Joe DHL yank it. BP

Love it BP. Video of it in action, please. Preferably bizarre.
Nice one BP or was that Heath Robinson
Genius. There's nothing like a good tinkle.
Bloody brilliant, all it lacks is a little sign above the bell saying 'Front Door'.I second the call for a video too, as soon as you have a moment. Latest mag is an exceptionally good one too, well done boys.
Brilliant. Love it!
I can see it now...in 6 months time your house will be filled with Robinson/Goldberg/Wallis and Grommit inspired mechanisms to crack and cook eggs...lube the motorbike chains, put your trousers on.....
