Dymag Bankrupt
Established in the early 70s, Dymag were the first company in the world to make magnesium motorcycle wheels; supplying the likes of Barry Sheene and Eddie Lawson. in 1994 they were the first to make carbonfibre motorcycle wheels; 19" too. The factory was 4 miles from my Mum's house. They were the first choice for bike and car speed freaks the world over. But now they're gone. BP

Hopefully they can restart under new investment.
- Skylar this is really The End, they've sold off all their hitech machine tools by auction to the general public.

19''?
Did they really make 19'' wheels? If anyone has some of those, I'm very interested.

(today) their website is still active:

the most recent application for 19"s was as a front wheel on the H-D™ V-Rod. BP
I was watching the auction online. What a shame another British Engineering legend gone to the wall.
Wow. That's completely and totally lame.
Sorry to hear of that Ben
I hope you will take this as good news. We are re-launching the Dymag Motorcycle wheels business in March and taking pre-orders now. Original tooling, and designs for all wheels being phased back in. The Carbons will be the last back in late 2010.
