It was even better in real life! Chris Harris brought the roof down at Cardiff with that race. Who says speedway is all about the first rider out the gate is the winner.
WOW.... I went and saw some in COsta Mesa, Ca and it really is one of the greatest racing around!!!!!!!

Video is good but there is nothing like the smell of methanol and hotdogs. It is etched in my synapses from 1981 watching the Eastbourne Eagles ;-)
I miss living near a speedway track. I could here the droning rumble of a 4 lap heat from my old house in Wolverhampton.
was lucky enough to be there watching.
a superb one off event, like the tt and a moto gp meeting, should be done at least once. truly memorable atmosphere in a stadium full of castrol R with the roof shut. then at the end o the the nite they open the roof and all the smells drift through the streets of cardiff to mingle with the spilt beer and sick!!.
