Rockin' (The Rockabilly Scene)

Andrew Shaylor is a superb British-based photographer. We've been trying for a while to get some of his work into Sideburn, but in the meantime, if you're in London some time over the next month, check out his free exhibition at the National Theatre. Rockin' (The Rockabilly Scene) documents the Fifties-based culture still going strong both here and in the States. It coincides with the release of his new book by the same title (published tomorrow: ISBN 978-1-8589-4528-6). Anyone who's seen his extraordinary book Hells Angels Motorcycle Club, will know the high quality of his work. I love the music, though I've always been more of a Ted.
