.......and all the other unsung heroes in his team. If only they'd all sported such SIDEBURNS !
He are the Mod . . . and a gent, slowed the P-train down to allow our Cadel to make it back in, well done Wiggo, and team.
I enjoyed watching the coverage, and I normally don't do spectating. Well done fella, to him and to the team around him.
Was very much looking forward to a perve at the calipers . . . boo hoo !!
Sorry, WP, I pressed the wrong button. You'll have to wait. G
What a brilliant result, what an enormous lot of hard work, MUCH respect, looking forward to them being on my old stomping ground, would love to make it up on Saturday to watch, GO WIGGO
I don't know anything about bicycling and shamefully had never heard about this bloke until I read about him on the Sideblog a short while ago.But what a geezer... friends with Paul Weller, skinny enough to properly wear Mod clobber and then goes and wins that Tour De France thing! Hat's off.
Guy - that comment about being skinny enough to wear mod clobber is bang on. I like the kit, but put me in a slick, narrow-lapel suit and I look like Alexei Sayle with a hangover.
On the rare occasions I am forced into a suit I look like Chris Moyles dressed as a teddy boy.
