Euro Flat Track remix

Flat track isn't in the normal European's blood, so to get interest we need to mix things up sometimes. Here's former UK and European champ Marco Belli on the Ouroboros Zaeta. He's in the display area at the recent Verona Show. Graziano Rossi is in the Mustang.
Eagle-eyes will spot Marco's got one of those Ruby Honet lids I like so much, too. And he's shown with Ouroboros main man, Paolo Chiaia. GI

We are going to have an official dirt track activity this year, and will be: track days, practice and races, maybe just 3, but enough to start :)

Belli to race Zaeta at UK indoor bonanza

Just heard from Marco Belli, confirming he will be racing the Ouroboros Zaeta at the Indoor Short Track at Essex on December 27. It's the new project's first competitive outing.
Boastie thinks the Indoor Bonanza is going to sell out, so buy your tickets now if you want to go. GI

It's still work in progress, but I think they've pulled it off. It needed to be something different. The seat unit looks a lot like the one we're using on our Project FT. The bigger aluminium tank is handsome too. Of course, the forks are form over function, but it'll look great blatting around Milan or Rome. And is this the first girder front end with a radial-mount caliper? GI

Paolo from Ouroboros sent some work in progress shots of the street version of the Zaeta. More complete shots very soon. The girder front end makes it very different to your normal street tracker, it's mixing it up and moving towards custom, but still with a racebike stance. And we haven't seen that many 450 street trackers anyway. GI

The basis is a J&M frame. More details to follow.

Graziano can really ride. No surprises, having won 250 GPs. And he loves to ride.

Graziano's steel toe caps. The concept is to slide left and right, hence two steel shoes. But Graziano trails his foot, not a lot of good if the front goes. Also, it's not pure dirt track, it has a front brake too. I didn't even think about using it.

I had 24 hours in Treviso, Italy late last week and had an amazing time, visting places and having a test ride on the Ouroboros Zaeta project - more details soon. Huge thanks to Alberto Narduzzi, Raffaele P, Marco, Paulo and all involved with the Ouroboros Zaeta project. I'll keep feeding stuff up from the flying visit over the next few days. GI
