It's a couple of weeks later than it should have been, so thanks for your patience, but Sideburn 24 is finally at the printers and available for pre-order now. This is the biggest ever issue of the magazine, with 116 pages (up from 100) for the same price.

There are features on:
  • Snow Quake
  • Thor's XG750 street tracker
  • Hell on Wheels hillclimb
  • How To be a Short Track bad ass by GNC racewinner Briar Bauman
  • Dirty adventures with Canada's Filthmode
  • Australian race mutants, an essay on the movie Stone
  • Travis races an Indian Scout hooligan bike
  • A new column by Guy Martin
Plus there are the regular interviews, photo portfolio, Trophy Queen, blueprint features and more...

Buy the issue for £6 plus post or subscribe for eight issues and get a free Sideburn gaffer tape T-shirt. (retail price £18)
We love the cover design, that was created by Toria Jaymes of Stay Outside Studio, so much we made a Clear Your Head T-shirt and high quality Clear Your Head Giclee art prints too.

Not only that, we have new sticker packs from Maxwell Paternoster and Matt Wes and a new issue of the French magazine, All You Need Is Ride. Check all the fresh stuff out in the New Arrivals section of the Sideburn webshop.
The official launch of Sideburn 24, and the launch of the DTRA 2016 season, will be held at the Bike Shed Motorcycle Club in London, on Saturday 9 April. It's the day before the first race meeting of the Dirt Track Riders Association season at Rye House, Hertfordshire (just outside the M25). It's free to spectate, there's going to be a massive race entry, so make a weekend of it.

Hope to see you there, Gary

Sideburn 15 Launch Party

Sideburn 15 is with us and being sent out now, but the official launch of the mag is in East London on Thursday 5 December.

The launch party is seamlessly intertwined with a brand new solo art exhibition by Stevie Gee.
Never peeped before art, customised weapons and the Stevie Gee x Sideburn Z200 cover bike (built by the mighty CFM) - pore over the details of this mini-meisterwerk. Plus music, booze, limited edition swag to buy, interesting people saying daft things, prizes to be won...

The event takes place at the Old Truman Brewery, just off Brick Lane with the venue then becoming a pop-up art gallery/shop until Tuesday. Yeah, a Stevie Gee/Sideburn pop-up shop in the best city on Earth. Whatever next?

We plan to have some other events going on in the shop so keep them peeled. G

Thanks to Vans + Kraken Rum + Ruby Helmets.

Mud Crab Snaps (pm)

Tall stories from Co Built
Wonderful lazer etched wooden CFH trophies
'Best Bike' - Survivor Customs' Rotax chop tracker odd-ball.
'Furthest Traveled by Bike' - London by Sam Christmas.
'Best Jacket' Max's Aldana jacket. BP

Peaks Ride-Out Snaps

This was the only accident of the whole day. It was just topple during the coffee break when the sidestand pressed through the flapjack tarmac. The only damage was some earth deposit on the sidestand which didn't exactly warrant calling out the AA.
Dave on his newly acquired CB175
Max winner of 'Best Jacket' wearing Dave Aldana's old leathers from when he was a teenager.
Proper coffee in the middle of nowhere, served from the back of Motore's Piaggio Ape - How fantastic!
And the next day on the way home, I stopped by Derbyshire Aggregates out in Youlgrave for a few sacks of black Bassalt chips (not peculiar to the North of England) for my wannabe-Japanese garden. (I nearly gave myself a double hernia when I acquired the stone doorstep from a field next to the A53 when I was last in the Peak District). BP
