So this is my (most recent) object of desire. Unearthed on the Japanese Daikoube blog with no decipherable info. So I sent out questionnaires to those in the know...
Ben Wilson revealed "Looks like Suzuki RV90/125 wheels, tyres, forks, swingarm & maybe frame with unknown Honda lump [me now thinks is an 1990s XR100] & Yamaha tank. You could use a TW125 as a donor instead."
Adrian Apart in Buenos-Aires was foxed and added this Yamaha BW200 bog bike to the debate:But then trumped with: "I just bought a new version of an RV yesterday. It's made by Mondial under license from Suzuki - its an exact replica of the 90 but with a 125 engine - they're bringing out a 250 version next summer. it's an Italian company based in Argentina, manufactured in China and assembled in Buenos Aires and probably going to be sent by me to the UK as i think it'd sell well there - do you ?

More from Alejo in Argetina. It's a follow up to this post. It's nothing to do with motorcycles (they'll be along again later), but I love the fact Alejo is from Buenos Aires, home to legendary Boca Juniors, and he still chooses to support the third division, Atlanta.

So you are a Leeds man? Well, here are some pics of "la cueva" ( it means "the cave"). Here you'll find the ATLANTA gang, and as you can see we share the yellow/blue colors. In the "bombo" (the big marching style drum) you can read "bohemios" , the Bohemians. It's the nickname for all the Atlanta fans, and that's the bombo that goes to all the matches.
There are no cool bikes in this pictures but that's me reading SB#4, to my left and right two generations of bohemians. Hope you like them.

(very hard to translate "aguante" but it comes from the verb "to hold" or "to bear" it's commonly use in futbol to describe what the fans do for their team it is use as GO LEEDS or GO ATLANTA , it also means that your team holds their colors against the others)

Incidentally, I was just looking at the Argentinian league tables and Banfield have won the league. Newell's old Boys came second. Who? And WHO!?
UPDATE: Below is the badge of Newell's Old Boys. It's probably going to upset Alejo, putting a rival team's badge on this post, but you've got to love NOB.

Wow, I just saw that beautiful bob job on your blog and a remembered I owe you pictures of sideburn #4 in BA ( Buenos Aires). For now here is one of my Bonneville project. Is coming along very nice, the handlebars are vintage national speedway, rear shocks from a kawa z1000 and the seat was hand made by me. I also have an Avon Roadrunner tire in the front and a nice Dunlop on the back. Mufflers custom made. Hope you like it.
I'm glad to read that you like "futbol" (haha) im a fan of ATLANTA a third category football team , but very tough.and if any of you ever come back to Argentina I'd be glad to take you see a match at "popular" with the local hooligans.

Budget bobber from Buenos Aires

BA is the greatest city on earth. I went there on a job once. Watched a River Plate game with Dan Walsh (I know it should've been Boca, but they were playing away). Walked for miles. Ate at Sucre. Stayed at the Ritz (was it the Ritz, Dan?). Had one of my biggest nights drinking (and didn't chuck-up) in some Irish bar Dan called home. Bought nice socks from Felix. Walked around the amazing junk shops. Bought an old Michelin tin sign for my office/shed.
Anyway, it all came flooding back when I saw this email today.

Hi Gary! i wanted to share with you the first bike that me(freddy) and my friend Anibal ever modified, its a little Honda Cg 125cc, We are two tattooers from Buenos Aires, Argentina and we build tattoo machines...our company its called BR irons.
We are modifiyng also a 1958 gilera 150 supersport, and two cbs 250 now, ill send you pics when i have one ready... hope you like the bike, i woul be grateful if you give as your opinion ,thanks! freddy.
