Myk's Place by Them Road Apples

I've mentioned the blog Them Road Apples before on our blog. It's from Vancouver and is run by a woman called Becky. This recent post caught my eye, because I recognised one of the bikes. These are shots of Myk's house and various collections, near Vancouver, Canada. He's one of the Scorpion Flat Track team (that we featured in Sideburn 3), a custom painter and friend of Motorcycho. And I liked these photos.

Sideburn 14 Launch Party

It's been a hectic summer. Dirt Quake, Wheels and Waves, Cafe Racer Festival, Isle of Man, racing, bike-building and working on issue 14 of the magazine. Something had to give, so we considered ditching the idea of a launch party, then Corpses From Hell came to the rescue. They're organising what might be the most memorable ever! What: Ride out from 2.30 the afternoon, up into the Peak District for some surprises. Astro!

We have an interesting couple of features coming up on the Bultaco Astro in the next Sideburn, number 14. One is written by Astro racer and owner, Don Miller of Metro Racing (above). We can think of few better to get under the skin of this revolutionary short tracker.
