Youth Quake
Stevie drew this killer art for the Rollerburn art show and has been threatening to put it on sale in the Stevie Gee Big Cartel for some time. It's not there yet. Slacker. G

Early Highside
Captain Highside doesn't race flat track as often as he used to, but he's still a class act (and the fastest Skooter Farmer) when he comes back. He was racing at Dirt Quake (and grafting), he ran over poor Stevie Coles, then finished on the podium in the Thunderbike class.
This photo shows Highside, 760, leading a BMX race sometime in the 18th Century*. G
*Actually 1981.

Cheese Rolling

Cricket and Rugby are totally mental sports to my Dutch wife. I got cauliflower ears playing second-row for Bath under 19s in the mid eighties, so I guess I must have been mental. But not more than those who 'cheese run' Cooper's Hill in Gloucester (and have been for 128 years no less). Today saw a welcome return to the traditional extreme sport after last years event got called off by the man, due to heath and safety fears. Check out cheese-rolling.co.uk for the smelly rules. BP
Right Royal Project
The Sideburn Stig proved our Project Royal Enfield hauls ass. Read about the build of this bike in Sideburn 10. G
Sorry, can't remember who took this photo.

Town Moto, Toronto
A new shop opens in Toronto this week. They'll stock Sideburn and other independent mags, plus lots of other stuff like Loser denim and Biltwell, too. Good luck, Town Moto.
On June 7th, we'll be having our official opening party at the shop. Come by and have a beverage and a dog and talk bikes with us for the night in the shop or out on the patio. Town Moto

The TT starts here
After a week of practice, the Isle of Man TT races start today, with the Superbikes out first, scheduled for 11am BST (I think that's 3am in California, 8pm in Sydney - but I could be wrong). You can listen live on TT Radio and get all the stats, live lap times etc through the official TT Live site. You'll have to sign up with your email address (maybe not for just the radio), but it's free. Gives me goosebumps every time I hear those historic course points being called out, as the bikes scream past, commentary swapping to the key places around the course. If you can't be there, listen in, it's great. MP
