Hi Gary, 
I'm sending you some photos about second round of FT Italian Championship on the S.Giovanni Teatino horse track. That's Fasciani's bike, with different frame, different exhaust (on the first ones the muffler was under the seat), Penske shock without pro-link, and a beautiful Vertemati engine. This is Vesprini's bike, the other rider, Moschini, rode the first TM-engined bike. Hope you appreciate!

Champion Yamaha XS for sale

Lovely Champion XS for sale in the UK...

With much regret I must now part with the Champion so its up for grabs. Its a genuine Californian bike with pink slip and all documentation. Amazingly it had one owner from 1975 - 2006 when I acquired it from the importer. I restored it completely from crankshaft up using all new parts and many NOS bits spending £8K + hundreds of hours. It is one of only two Champion Yam 750 flat trackers in the UK. Advertised here first. Interested? call Gary T.

Ellaspede 004

I spotted this bike on Bubble Visor. I really like it. Ben doesn't dig the big tank/skinny back end proportions, but I don't mind it. All I'd change would be the leading axle front forks (a pet hate), but HEY THIS ISN'T BIKEEXIF, WIND YER NECK IN! Exactly. The Ellaspede chaps in Brisbane, Australia are doing good things. Good luck to 'em.

The bike is 1998 Honda XR600 with a 630 (not so) big bore. 18in wheels look great with those Bridgestone.

We have a winner!

Due to holidays we haven't been posting orders for the last two weeks. Everything is caught up and in the post today. To make it up to the people who had to wait we offered a chance to be entered into a draw to win a free Sideburn issue 1.

Oxford Short Track

Short Track UK and Co-Built have been working very hard to prep the track for a return to Oxford Speedway this Friday. This is a great location, but is only used for dog racing now, so when the dirt trackers want to race there, they have to sort the track from a year's neglect. And that's not as easy as you might imagine.
Both these short films were shot at the first Oxford race last year. Racing is THIS Friday. G

Sabato sera sullo splendido ippodromo di san Giovanni Teatino, Chieti, si è svolta la prima tappa del Campionato Italiano Flat Track.Dopo una difficile partenza, con la incredibile rottura della catena, sono riuscito a risalire la china, a vincere la mia semifinale e partire in prima fila per la finale.Finale combattutissima, che ha visto un arrembante Vesprini costretto al ritiro per un guasto meccanico ed il sottoscritto approfittarne immediatamente per portare a casa la prima vittoria dell'anno. Grande spettacolo e pubblico in delirio hanno fatto da cornice a questo splendido evento. The big hippodrome of san Giovanni teatino, Chieti, in the south of Italy, hosted one of the most spetacular race ever seen. Speed over 150kmh getting in the turns and elbow to elbow fights for a cequered flag. At the end of the night, Marco won the race, also thanks to a blow-up of Vesprini bike, followed by Moschini and Marzotto. next is the world championship in prague, next 23rd of june.
