King's Lynn Practice 1
Short Track UK organised a pre-season practice at King's Lynn last week. A few new faces turned up, including young Eddie on this bike. He's a grasstracker and his dad had written to us a while ago. I think he's going to fly. I didn't get a photo of him, because when he was riding I was spannering, but he wears a stripy shirt like Dennis the Menace. Class Act.
It goes without saying beer crate paddock stands are where it's at.
Paul B has got to be one of the most keen club riders on the UK. The South African rode short track last year, on a Ducati Monster, till the lack of lock spat him off and he broke his collarbone. He also competes in evil enduros, like the Erzberg Rodeo and at the Manx GP (the amateur Isle of Man TT). When he's not doing that he's out on his trials bike. Follow his endless adventures at Speed Therapy. This year he's on a KTM Duke. It's really good to have him back.
Paul Harrison. I know I'm riding like a demon if I beat Paul. He's so smooth, but bloody fast. And he always seems to be in front of me. He turned up with this new framer, made my Cotterill in the UK. It seemed to be going well.
The Co-Built fellas, Anthony and Geoff shared a bike and hot shoe. Geoff (with the nu-rave kevlars) will be out on his own Co-Built soon. They build the 4130 frames, triple clamps and other bits. Then race them. There could be as many as four Co-Builts at some races this year. Order yours.
THE FIRST RACE IS APRIL 11 AT KING'S LYNN.FROM 1.

That 2 stroke framer looks great!! Would love to see a video of it in action (with good sound) Can you race with knobbie tyres in UK short track series?
The framer is for a kid. It's a knee-high bike. Kids are allowed to race on knobblies, adults are not. G
OK, Thats why it looked cool! Small bike often have better proportions.
Are there any fullsize 2 stroke flatttrack bikes being raced? That would be cool wouldn't it?
I mean Roland's CR500 (SB #5) with flattrack bars and Maxxis!!
