Dave Skooter Farm on Killer Diller

These are all images of one of my favourite humans in the world, Dave Skooter Farm, aka Mr Murdo, aka Murdo Gloves, aka Dave Arnold. Making Sideburn or doing any of the things related to the magazine like the events, show stands, road trips or racing, wouldn't be half as fun without him.
He's in two bands The Stags and The Shook-Ups, who are both playing on the same bill in Camden, London on March 10. More details when we get them.
He was also on Johnny Alpha's Killer Diller radio show last week and played a bunch of punk from the last 40 or so years. Here are the bands from the show...

Instrumentals; Centuries; Rip offs; Flakes; Mummies; Brood; Sidekicks; Diaboliks; Spaceshits; Johnny & the self-abusers; Models; Adverts; Stranglers; Bobby Darrin; Little Richard; Larry Williams; Roy Orbison; Easybeats; Saints; US Bombs; 5, 6, 7, 8's; Headcoats; Rings; Downliners Sect; Davie Allen & the Arrows; Phantom Surfers & Dick Dale; J.F.A.; Slaughter & the Dogs; Buzzcocks; Freshies; Devo, New Colony Six...

Coincidentally, I wrote a piece on DJ Johnny Alpha for the latest Men's File. Sideburn collaborator Paul Bryant took the photos.

Top bloke. Really enjoyed meeting him and reminiscing about 70s UK punk when we were in Verona.

Have to agree 747. I've rarely met such a multi-talented bloke, and when Gary sent me over a genius piece that Dave's written for the next issue of Sideburn, my response was 'Is there anything Dave Skooter Farm can't do?' The bloke really is an inspiration.

I have to disagree... Dave Arnold is not brilliant at everything. He is rubbish at brain surgery. I was lying on my back in the bottom of his pool having goofed a Swedish Manual. When he got out his mole grips and Swiss army knife, I knew it wasn't going to be a walk in the park.

But it's that 'have a go' spirit' that you have to admire, even when he's wrist deep in your frontal lobes with the cat licking up the overspill and your legs in full spasm, he still reaches for the hoof-pick blade with a confident smile

What a collection of pics. The Captain Scarlet outfit is surely a must at the opening round of the year. Dave thank you for the inspiration.
