Sonic Weld Gold Star

Beautiful Sonic Weld BSA Gold Star built by Goldstarfreddie from New Jersey. I lifted the photos from the forum on britbike.com. Reminds me of the stance of the Sideburn Enfield 500. 

Sonic Weld style frames are still being offered, brand new, by Cheney Engineering in the USA.

This is one of those new Sonic Weld frames using up a lot of my old flat track parts. The cases are B33 with an early GS crank and with the quill timing cover and top breather. It handles like a 250 Bultaco but costs 5 times as much I thought this would be of interest to someone with only a motor as he makes these frames for various motors.

Look, Signal, Manoeuvre

I can't believe I've not seen this before. It's one of those hugely patronising public information films and probably had the opposite effect of the one intended by its makers in 1965. Come on, we'd be the one on the Triumph Tiger Cub hammering round the woods, surely? A great bit of social history - the newsagent's is straight from my youth. Red Marley Hill Climb

Picturesque English Worcestershire paysage, horsey girls wearing Jimmy Choo Hunter wellies and much tweed; miss-matching Brum accents, scrum on the muddy slope with shaven-headed beardy bikers in DP combat jackets. £2.50 for a polystyrene punnet of raw chips, toasted Paninis even more tasteless than the Brevel cheese-toaties they have superseded.
The pre-65 bikes range from £12,000 titanium catapults, to mobile chicken coops held together with bailing twine. The ES2 Norton in the montage here has a Dyno-printer name tag on the tank to combat amnesia after too many back-flips. BP
