Vegas Videos

Remember Dale Lineaweaver? He's the guy who built the 50P Ducati flat tracker as well as a bunch of other interesting stuff. Well, I met him at Vegas and he is a nice fella, very helpful and very clever. He sent me a link to some great videos he's made including this one of the main featuring Sammy Halbert - 43 (above, from an earlier non-Vegas altercation), Jake Johnson - 14, Brandan Bergan - 26 and others. In my haste to post something from Vegas I said Jake took out Sammy, but it wasn't him. Anyway, watch Dale Lineaweaver's videos of the Open, Pro and Classic races from Vegas. They're vicious. Thanks Dale. GI

50p Bargain Ducati

First came across this bike on the Short Track UK website as Boastie spotted it at Indy back in November. Raced by Kurt Marmor, it's based on a 749, so probably cost a bit more than 50p. BP

UPDATE
50p was built by Dale Lineaweaver, who also built that nutty BMW
I want to feature in SB magazine.

Blunt Object

In between the classic framers and the increasingly dominant crosser derivatives, there's a band apart converting modern road bikes for racing. Within that group, BMW is hardly a name you immediately associate with flat tracking, but the F800 has a growing fan base. Dale Lineaweaver's take, ridden by Bryan Hazel had a promising first season. Love it's brutal look and that blunderbus 'silencer'.
