We found half a box of these in Italy when we were out there for the Verona show.
This is a long sold out issue.
We haven't put a premium on them, just £4.50 plus post like they were when we made it back in 2009.
One per order ONLY!
Please don't buy them to try make a quick buck on eBay, it's cooler to leave them for enthusiasts who have been after one for a while.
Go to the Sideburn shop.
We are sold out of:
1
2
3
4 (except these handful)
5
6
12
13
15 (cover 2)
So perhaps get a few of the other back issues still available before they're gone. G
UPDATE - This small stock of issue 4 is now sold out.

New In (and Back In)
YELLOW T-SHIRT NOW SOLD OUT. THANKS FOR THE ORDERS. STILL AVAILABLE IN GREY
Super limited edition yellow Slacker shirts.
Medium only. All other sizes sold out. These are on a Gildan Ultra, so they are a good medium, not a tighter-fitting medium (like the Gildan Ringspun that the grey Slacker is printed on). Only a handful are left from the exhibition we did with Stevie Gee.
We have also unearthed a few of the long sold out Sideburn 4. They're still at the 2009 cover price. I really love this issue, a great mix of stories and characters and bikes, from the 1950s to 2009. Well I love them all. G

Valentino on the Zaeta UPDATE!

Our good friend Paolo from Zaeta got in touch to say there's a video of Valentino Rossi riding the Zaeta on VR's own website. You've heard of Valentino, right? Yeah, you read the thing he wrote and Sideburn printed in issue 4. Yep, that's him skinny Italian fella. Likes yellow.
We can't embed the video so you'll have to go to valentinorossi.com, click history, then news. If anyone can work out how to embed it, please let us know. Thanks.
UPDATE: The Mighty Garrett B (special place in our hearts, etc, etc) told us it's on YouTube. I guess I could've looked there, but I thought Paolo told me it wasn't.
Also, Paolo has been designated one of the five Knights (back row, right) in the court of the queen for the poster of the 2011 Eicma Show in Milan. For Zaeta to be recognised by the most important motorcycle show in the world is amazing. Congratulations Paolo! G

Lloyd Brother's Ducati
Lloyd Brothers Motorsports 2010 Video from David Lloyd on Vimeo.
Second Ducati video of the day. Thanks to Roger Falesco for telling us about this.Nice little 5:42 video on Ducati's race team. Now that Kopp's retired, Henry Wiles will be back with the Lloyd Brothers team in 2011. Recall that he rode the Aprilia for this team before they switched to Ducati, and would've won the Lima half mile a couple of years back had Eslick heeded the move over flag. If he had won, then Aprilia would've got all the kudos for beating H-D that Ducati did this year... Roger
We featured the first Lloyd Brothers' Ducati (in a different chassis to Kopp's), in Sideburn 4. G

Prediction
We warned you when Sideburn 1 nearly sold out. We warned you when Sideburn 2 nearly sold out. We predict Sideburn 4 is going to sell out next. Click the Sideburn 4 Teaser label below to find out why. GPS Troy Chico Moto shot the cover for SB4 and has shot a killer feature for SB7.

Nürburg

Popped over to Nürburg to cover BMW at the WSB round for a magazine last year. It was all a PR schmooze-snooze. No one will say 'Boo' to a goose. Alberto Novelli (who shot the Rossi in the snow feature in Sideburn 4) and I stayed in hotel like the one in The Shining. It was completely empty, except for us.
So, new BMW nearly on the pace; finger rocker valves; Troy Corser; big budget, blah, blah, blah. All I wanted to know about was the Unimog. Just look at it. G

Death Spray Custom's latest work

From Death Spray Custom
'Here's a new DSC piece, hopefully it's the first chair ever posted on Sideburn's blog. (It's a vintage Eames Plastic Side Chair for all the chair nerds out there)
Also attached is an exciting action shot, where a mug of tea, a delicious mille feuilie and SB 4 is being enjoyed.'

Orlando Mono update
"There's actually not much to it, but what there is, is hypnotic."
This is true. I do some web work for the shop that received this puppy and prepped it for O.B. (He brought his Hypermotard in there for service after doing god-knows-what to it; the TOP of the dash was jacked among other bits)
Anyway, here are some snaps I took when the Mono was in the service bay. Most dudes buy (well, cruisers really) sportbikes so there were quite a few dismissive remarks (good luck turning that rear tire with 40 hp...) but I'll have you know that the day I took these snaps was the same day that I took Sideburn #1 up to the shop to show off. When folks said, "What in the hell is that bike?" I whipped out the mag and said "It's one of THESE." I'll also mention that Steve Jones (guitarist of some note, DJ) was in the shop that day, looked into service and immediately said, "What. Is. That?!" I'm afraid that I did not give him a mag - sorry - y'all had just run out of issue #1 and I've got just enough of the collector gene to keep me greedy.
Good luck!
David

Instant Hairy Chest

Ever get sand kicked in your face? Tried a Bullworker but only ever got it to twang in your face? Well how about this for an instant bollock swelling dose of testosterone... Larry Pegram's Red Menace Ducati - as featured in SB#4 is for sale over on flat track.com. $17,000 worth of Lloyd brothers hairy finesse. BP
UP-DATE...
BP: 'How come you're selling ?!'
DL: 'The bike that is for sale is the stock frame duc that PEGRAM raced at Springfield and made the main on, not the framed bike that you featured. I have a deposit already to hold the bike until the end of the year. We are gonna start building another framer over the winter.
I got my copies [of SB#4] last week. Awesome thanks for the press. The mag is great. I bought a subscription and plan on spreading the word.
Keep in touch

Deus Mono

The speed of the internet is perverse, 'news spreading like wild-fire' is steam-age term. But with ether-speed also comes transience; here today, gone two minutes later. What we preach with Sideburn magazine, is longevity and quality. Knocking one off in front of the computer is one thing, but Sideburn magazine is your own pocket bible to have and to hold, and it doesn't need batteries, or a wifi connection.
The Deus Ex Machina Mono; featured in SB#4, built for Orlando Bloom, needs ogling at for hours on end. There's actually not much to it, but what there is, is hypnotic. BP

Sideburn 4 has landed
Our web fella, Kar, is away working so we haven't got the webpage updated yet. It's all the same ordering details as the previous issues.
BUT, now we're 100 pages, not 84 like the first three issues. With no increase in price. GI
PS My snap camera is crap, the printing is super-zingy.

One Arm Is Enough

Jason Griffin lost his arm when he was a nipper, and yet he still became a pro-class flat tracker. His story immediately relegates our half-baked efforts as totally poofy. Another SB#4 teaser... BP
