Win a Mutt

One of stockists, Monday Mo Co (in the West Midlands No-Go area) has a great offer on at the moment. Spend £100 or more with them and you'll get entered into a competition to win one of the neat Mutt 125s. Benny Boneshaker developed this little Chinese made entry level bike. I've ridden on around the green lanes on trials tyres and it's a fun little thing.

They stock Deus, Red Wing, Pike Brothers... It won't be hard to spend £100 if you've got it. It works for online purchases.

Closing date is the end of June... Got to Monday Mo Co. Good luck! G

No-Go Area

In December Sideburn went to the new Monday Mo Co shop in Birmingham for a low-key shindig and mag launch. Little did we know we were braving a Al Qaeda hot spot, a no-go area for non-Muslims and were at risk from a beat down from a 'police' force enforcing sharia law. If only we'd seen this well-informed and expertly researched Fox News report before (below).

We weren't the only people to dodge the fundamentalist snipers' tracer fire and flag-burning mobs. Luke came down to check out the scene and wrote a little report for We Are Union. These photos are from there.

We steer clear of politics on this blog, but in all seriousness, watch the clip below and realise it's not a joke.
It's obvious all mainstream news is some kind of propaganda, but can you believe the shit fed by 'serious' news channels.

Birmingham is great! Long live Monday Mo Co, too. G

Career Opportunity

Monday Moto Co is a new shop is opening in Birmingham (West Midlands, not Alabama). We don't know a lot about it, other than one of the owners is Benny Boneshaker, so it's likely to be spot on. It'll sell bikes (including the Mutt), artwork, clobber and they're looking for a store manager.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Retail Shop Manager to work in our new store, Monday Mo Co In The Custard Factory, Gibb Street, Birmingham, due to open on 1st September.

Managing a busy shop which sells retro motorcycles, motorcycle related clothing, parts, accessories and art, you will need to be commercially aware, driven, well organised, and hands on.

Applicants will ideally have an interest in motorcycles and a general knowledge of the motorcycling scene. So, if you are the kind of person who enjoys being on the shop floor and driving sales through great customer service and is motivated by a challenge and helping to create a new store and build a new brand - apply now!

Will be approx 35 hrs including weekends
For more info please email: boneshakerchoppers@hotmail.co.uk or davestroud100@gmail.com
