Venhill Safety Wire Pliers

I've gone to UK company Venhill for cables and brake hoses for my last six bikes. They offer a great service, making up silky smooth custom length cables or just supplying replacements for stock bikes. I've just fitted one of their 888 quick action throttles to the Black Arrow too.

Now that Venhill sell safety wire pliers, I love them even more. G

UPDATE - THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED BECAUSE THE TRACK IS WATERLOGGED Don't forget, weather permitting, there is DTRA dirt track this Sunday, from 11.30 at Rye House, Hoddesdon. It's the most Southernly track the series visits.

Alternatif, Aurillac

We're proud to announce skateboard shop, Alternatif in the town of Aurillac, Central France is the latest stockist of Sideburn magazine and T-shirts.

We met Vincent, the owner of Alternatif, at Wheels and Waves. He owns three shops (I think), runs a skateboard team and also produces a superb free magazine called TransferT. He's a doer! G

Ruby Animal Prints

Debuted by Dimitri Coste at Dirt Quake II , back in June, (see photos below by Götz Goppert) the animal prints are finally on the market. The black on black is probably my favourite Ruby design ever... G

Springfield Mile 2 Catch-Up

Second verse, same as a the first! Springfield Mile two, the Sunday race, had a familiar ring to it. #44 Brandon Robinson won the GNX Expert twins race, from Bryan Smith and JD Beach...

While Shayna Texter also did the double in the Basic Twins class. I wonder what odds you'd get on those to results.

Mikey (I think it's now Michael) Martin #91, made the main, got the fastest lap on his Bonneville Performance Triumph, but then pulled up midway through the race.
