AJS Blog Relic
All blog comments new - or ancient, get forwarded to our personal emails. But it's always a pleasant surprise when old posts still send out ripples. Yesterday Canadian John Gregg left this note on his own bike which had been a mystery since 2009! BP
I purchased this bike 46 years ago for $25 and it has been in waiting ever since. Plans now are to do it up and take it to Bonneville Speed Week this year and try for the Ton and a record. Will be respecting the patina as much as we can. Follow progress here - http://www2.vip.net/jgregg/

Castle Rock: Needs You
From Thor at See See Motorcycles...
Let's face it the cost of running a nationally-sanctioned racetrack isn't getting any cheaper. That paired with a couple hard years and Castle Rock Speedway needs some help. Any amount is a huge help. Just think if everyone who watched the video below (filmed at Dirt Quake USA held at Castle Rock last summer) donated $1 we would be skating on gold! It has 105,000 views and counting.
If you don't have a couple bucks to spare, post it on your Social Media areas. Maybe your gran or long-lost friend might? Just click "Here" to donate. Thanks!

When Dinosaurs Roamed the Beaches
From Harley in the Isle of Man
I was nosing through some old photos and came across this monster, taken at Mablethorpe at least 25 years ago. I’ve no idea who was at the controls but they really don’t make ‘em like that any more.
Happy New Year

Cars and Women
Yes, sometimes (often), I'm that shallow.
If anyone knows where I can find more photos of women with 1970s supercars and concept cars, please let me know.
The photo below has quickly become one of my favourites of all time, though I don't know who took it for what purpose or even what the car is. Hopefully someone can fill me in.
Photos found at: Le Container, Twwhlspls, Dulicis Domus G
