Jay on the Blast. Here's the story. 'In September of 2003, Jay Springsteen visited Japan for a demo ride at the purpose-built 'Field of Dreams' dirttrack event held in the mountains of Nagano.'
He's probably one of the few guys on this planet that could ride that thing competitively. It was a bad idea to base a racebike on the Blast. It never should have gotten beyond that. Then Formula USA decided to allow them, and in fact structured a flattrack class with them in mind. Shortly after that Formula USA went bankrupt. Now a bunch of people have Blasts sitting in the back of their race shed, next to their more modern and efficient lawn mowers.
